Scott F Jensen, Principal
With over 20 years of industry experience, Scott's career has been divided
between management, teaching, and consulting roles. Receiving a Logistics
Engineering degree, Scott began his career in resource management.
As a Lean Systems Implementation expert at an automotive tier-one supplier
Scott was fortunate to spend time at a Toyota facility and complete
the Toyota Production System, Management Training. Adding to this knowledge
he later became a certified Thinking Process Jonah with the TOC Center.
Now, in a teaching and consulting role at Weber Sate University and
Control Point, Scott’s areas of specialty include Constraints
Management and Lean Manufacturing.
Larry P Leach, Senior Consultant
Author of Critical Chain Project Management, and numerous articles on
Project Management practices, Larry Leach is widely recognized as one
of the country’s foremost experts on the Theory of Constraints/Critical
Chain Project Management, and one of its chief implementers.
With over 30 years of industry experience, Larry’s career has
been divided between management and consulting roles. Receiving Masters
Degrees in both Business Management from the University of Idaho, and
in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, Larry
also teaches MBA courses. He was awarded membership in Tau Beta Pi,
the Engineering honorary society, while earning his undergraduate degree
in Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology.
Larry is also a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), a
certified Project Management Professional, and Theory of Constraints
Jonah’s Jonah with the Goldratt institute.
Tony LaTurner, PhD, Brigham Young University
Dr. Tony LaTurner is a professor at Brigham Young University.
He teaches Operations & Supply Chain Management, Six-Sigma, Lean
& Theory Of Constraints (TOC) courses. Tony has been teaching
and consulting for over 20 years and holds a BS from BYU, an MS and
Ph.D. from California Coast University.
Recently, Tony participated in a process improvement project with the
U.S. Navy, achieving dramatic improvements within their maintenance
and repair operations.
Dr. LaTurner is certified in Six Sigma as a Master Black Belt, TOC as
a Jonah’s Jonah, and holds a Master Certification in Lean. He
has implemented improvement projects at many fortune 500 corporations
and worked extensively with Department of Defense organizations

Barton Penrod, Special Advisor
Bart has more than Twenty-eight years of combined experience as a CEO,
COO, GM, Vice President, and director of consulting, Director of Manufacturing/Production/
Scheduling.
Bart began his journey into the world of ”Lean Manufacturing as
a teenager, before many in America knew there was such a thing. In the
late sixties, he was sent by his family’s dealership to Yamaha’s
management training and studied Lean from the Japanese.
While studying at AGI with Dr. Eli Goldratt and Mr. Robert Fox, Bart
contributed to the advancement of the Theory of Constraints and graduated
as a Jonah, Information systems Jonah, and Jonah’s Jonah. Following
the release of the Japanese translation of “The Goal Bart was
invited to Japan where he lectured at Toyota, Hitachi, Panasonic, Nippon
Steel, and others.
Recognized as a world authority in TOC and one of its chief implementers,
Bart now spends the majority of his time, applying the techniques he
has helped develop to his personal enterprises.
